1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking request, contacting us to arrange an appointment, or attending a therapy session, you ("the parent" or "the guardian") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in full. By booking, you confirm that you are the child's parent or have legal authority to consent to their medical and therapeutic treatment.
2. About BloomBridge Pediatric Therapy
BloomBridge Pediatric Therapy is a sole-proprietor pediatric therapy practice based in Muthaiga, Nairobi, Kenya, owned and operated by a single licensed therapist providing Speech-Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy to children aged 0β18 years.
3. Services Offered
Speech-Language Therapy: language delays, articulation, stuttering & fluency, AAC, feeding & swallowing, literacy support.
Occupational Therapy: sensory integration, fine motor & handwriting, daily living skills, executive function/ADHD support, school readiness, school-based consultation, home program design.
Our services are therapeutic, not medical. We do not provide medical diagnoses β where one is required, we refer to an appropriate medical professional.
4. Booking & Appointments
Bookings can be made via our website form, WhatsApp, or email and are confirmed only once you receive written confirmation. New clients begin with a free 20-minute discovery call, followed by a comprehensive assessment. Standard sessions are 45 minutes; assessments are 90 minutes. Sessions are delivered In-Clinic, School-Based, or Home-Based depending on agreement with the therapist. For children under 5, a parent must remain on the premises during sessions.

We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer/card, NHIF (where applicable) and select insurance providers. Payment for sessions is due on the day, before the session begins. Assessments require a 50% deposit to confirm booking.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- 24+ hours notice: No charge β full reschedule.
- Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the session fee is charged.
- No-show / no notice: Full session fee is charged.
If we need to cancel, we will always offer a free reschedule at your preferred time. We understand children get sick β message us as soon as possible and we will try to reschedule without charge for genuine illness.
7. Clinical Boundaries & Professional Standards
Our therapist operates strictly within their scope of practice and licensure. We do not provide medical diagnoses. Therapy outcomes depend on many factors including consistency of attendance and home program implementation β we cannot guarantee specific developmental outcomes. Our therapist is obligated under the Children's Act 2022 (Kenya) to report any reasonable concern about child abuse, neglect, or harm to the relevant authorities β this overrides confidentiality.
8. Parent & Guardian Responsibilities
Please arrive on time, provide accurate developmental and medical history, implement home programs between sessions, inform us of changes to your child's health or circumstances, treat our therapist with respect, and provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.
9. Confidentiality
Everything discussed in sessions and all clinical records are strictly confidential, shared with third parties only with your explicit written consent β except where there is risk of serious harm, a legal requirement to disclose, or your specific consent for a referral/report. 10. Website Use
Content on this website is for general information only and does not constitute a therapeutic relationship. All content is the intellectual property of BloomBridge Pediatric Therapy and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, our liability for any claim arising from therapy services is limited to the fees paid for the specific session(s) in question. Nothing here limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, which cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concern before any formal dispute process.

1. Who We Are
BloomBridge Pediatric Therapy is a sole-proprietor pediatric therapy practice in Muthaiga, Nairobi. For the purposes of the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, BloomBridge Pediatric Therapy is the Data Controller responsible for your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect: parent/guardian identity & contact details, your child's name/age/gender, health & developmental information, session/progress records, appointment data, and payment information (M-Pesa, card, or NHIF number). We do not collect ID documents, photographs (without separate consent), or any unrelated data.
3. How We Use Your Information
To schedule and manage appointments, conduct assessments and design therapy plans, track developmental progress, communicate about sessions and home programs, process payments, and comply with our legal/professional obligations. We never use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making without your written consent.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process data based on your consent, performance of a contract (delivering the therapy you've booked), our legitimate interests (appointment reminders), and our legal obligations as a licensed therapy provider.
5. Children's Information
Almost all data we hold relates to minors and is treated as sensitive personal data. We only discuss a child's information with their parent or legal guardian, and never share health/developmental records with schools or other parties without your explicit written consent.
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or trade your data. We use trusted service providers (Netlify for hosting/forms, Google for email, WhatsApp/Meta for messaging, M-Pesa/Safaricom for payments) who process data only on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by Kenyan law, or to report genuine child safety concerns under the Children's Act 2022.
7. Storage & Security
This site uses HTTPS encryption throughout. Booking data is stored on Netlify's secure, audited infrastructure. Clinical records are kept in password-protected files accessible only to the treating therapist, with two-factor authentication on email accounts and locked storage for any paper records.

10. Cookies
This website does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. No cookie banner is needed because we don't track you.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or Kenyan law evolves. We'll update the date above and notify existing clients of significant changes via WhatsApp or email.
